Double Posting this month for Christmas

I have another blog. Actually, two, but one of them is dormant/complete. They are 365 blogs, which means I post every day in some fashion, surrounding a common theme. My first was based on the fact that I turned 32 that year, and so I wrote 32 words about 365 people. That one is a beautiful meditation, if I dare say so myself. I love reading other people's x365 blogs, too. It's a tiny little blog community and it's lovely.

The other one was an extension of that. It's called Most Nigh to Tears & Memory, based on an Oscar Wilde quote...and it is 365 songs. I don't limit the words (see November, I can't shut up). But each day I write about a song. This December, I've decided to write each day about a Christmas song. And I'm going to double post because there are quite a few people who do not go over to Most Nigh, and that's probably best, but this month looks like it could be ok to read.

So forgive the indulgence. They'll be labeled 365: and then the song title. Some of them have the hazy memory of childhood intermingled, so if you are an adult who might remember better (ahem, Mom), that's fine. Over on Most Nigh, I pretty much disregard my audience and just write--here I tend to be more careful. Not as careful as Mike would like, sometimes, but we all have different tolerance levels for purse-spillage. And for blunt honesty. And opinions. And outright idiotic behavior. Obviously, I have high tolerance for all of those.

First up, White Christmas. Enjoy.
