I went up to Pius to water plants at noon. Let myself in, noted the plants in bad shape, the ones doing ok. Go up to the sacristy, grab a couple that need some sun, and put them out on the back porch. Note that the two of the almost easter-lily plants are doing pretty good on the back porch, decide, hey, I'll take them in. Turn to go back into church. The door handle has locked behind me. After a brief expletive, I walk up to the front of the rectory, ring the bell. The woman sitting on the steps tells me she doesn't think anyone is home: she's waiting for Sr. Paulette to let her in to go get diapers for some clients.
So we wait. For about 15 minutes. Paulette shows up, lets me in, and I go finish the job. Dork.
