Clifty Creek in 5 photos

Clifty Creek is the destination of choice for the under 7 crowd that wants to swim but has parents who are wary of the river (depth plus swiftness plus motorboats). 3 feet deep at the most, clear and cold to the bottom, fish everywhere. The best kind of fresh water, in my opinion.

And yes, that would be me as I learned how to skip rocks finally. Got one of them to go 5 skips. Go me.

Leo was not impressed with the creek, however.

Oh those pictures are terrific! Especially the sassy one of Maeve and Sophie. And maybe one of these years Tim and I will come with you guys. It was always a good time.

And, by the way, the whole Jack thing, just let me know, I am down.

Awww! Leo - that's so funny. Also, Colleen - I was going to say the exact same thing about the Soph and Maeve sassy picture! Adorable.

Also, I don't know how to skip rocks. I try and try and repeatedly fail.

Sounds like a great place. I used to be able to skip rocks -- long days as a kid at "the lake" with only my grandparents for company.
