Twenty-Six Days of Advent begins today

Hi there. I know I've been gone. It's rare but sometimes things get busy, and they really did this week. Nothing even remarkable about it--just Thanksgiving and school and getting things done for winter and for the holidays. Speaking of that, my other blog (I try to maintain two at once, although South City Souvenirs has been shamefully abandoned for the time being--I need ideas!), Twenty Six Days of Advent, began this morning. I hope to post every day. Actually, I will post every day. It's from here until Christmas Eve and I'm hoping it will help me focus on this season that I so often lose in everything else of December. Some days I pull from daily readings, but others are (at least planned to be) concerning the major old testament prophecies, the infancy narratives, you know, things to ruminate upon.
