Girl Scout: Looking for bridging ideas

Ok, I know a couple of GS leaders or moms read this. I need some bridging ideas. We're bridging at one of the scout's houses this year instead of in Tower Grove at one of the bridges on an old unused path (which was a great place to do it, but this year won't be happening).

I have 12 girls bridging to juniors. Any thoughts?

Oh, and I have a low tolerance for cheesiness.

Wish I could be more helpful, but I am so unimaginative! I am going to borrow our districts moveable bridge and have my soon to be cadettes walk over it. The Resource Center has a packet on Bridging and Court of Awards ideas. Not a lot, but some suggestions.

We're moving from Daisies to Brownies this year, so in a similar boat. My service unit manager recommended scoutingweb. I do enjoy your GS leader stories.

Instead of walking over a bridge some times its nice to walk under an arch. In the spirit of a arbor that might grace a garden gate you could have the girls walk thru it with a theme of "open doors" or "wider opportunities" ? The girls could decorate the structure with symbols of one thing they've learned or left behind and a hope or goal for the future. too cheesy?
