2 - Snow days in a row. This makes me happy. I am a teacher after all.
7 - hours I had scheduled to work at the district where I'm subbing, but they're off too. So no big loss.
0 - number of times I've left the house since the sleet started yesterday morning
4 - loads of dishes
6 - loads of laundry
3- mitten changes for Billy yesterday
1 - cake baked for the fish fry
2 - mushy bananas in the cake instead of the compost
12 - episodes of Parks and Recreation watched on Netflix while I folded laundry
56 - ounces of clam chowder consumed for lunch by 4 of us (hey, it's Friday in Lent)
3 - inches of snow and ice pellets, topped with a crust of freezing rain.
8 - cans of cat food split between my 4 cats and the feral one under the porch
2 - times the youngest cat, Walnut, bolted out the front door, just to freak out and run back in
0 - number of times I bothered to check the Missouri teaching jobs clearinghouse given that the districts and principals are all at home drinking hot chocolate as well.
66 - hours until I actually have to drive anywhere in my car
4 - socks darned
1 - pair socks finished, woot!
4 - library books about knitting and quilting flipped through and essentially rejected
62 - degrees on our thermostat
2.5 - hours until my hair cut, which I can walk to
18 - juncos, no joke, in the backyard at one time, hopping on the snow, on the treehouse roof, on the porch
1 - doll, yes doll, talent show I must go judge now. Gah.

That's a lot of laundry! (Because the bit about watching Parks and Rec is what stands out, of course -- I love that show.)
And how was that talent show? :)
When I first read it, I didn't see ounces on the clam chowder. I thought you had eaten 56 CANS!!
Glad you all were safe and (mostly) warm.
Holy crap 62 degrees? We're at 68 and I'm freezing.
Laundry and TV is a perfect match!
Loved the whole list.
Parks and Recreation is my favorite show. Seriously.
Ah, those days when one never leaves the house...
